Muster Up Every Inch Of Patience You Have Left In You. It's Coming.

There have been happy days. There have been sad days. There have been plenty of tears along the way. But it seems Gran Turismo 5 is finally on the horizon. Kevin Butler's already teased it, but GameTrust's just confirmed it:

"We know that the fans are waiting for it and we want to release it too," said a Sony representative from Germany. "I think that it's more painful for us than for the fans that we couldn't hold the last date. The next time we announce a release date we'll be one-hundred per cent sure that we can hold it and won't make the mistake we did with the March date."

But how long's the wait going to be Mr. Sony Germany?

"You just have to wait a little longer until we announce a new date, only some days...or weeks."

<span>So E3 then. Expect Sony to come right out of the gate with the Gran Turismo 5 blow-out. We're predicting: new trailer, some gameplay details, a bit about the online, release date and then segway into 3D functionality on PS3. Well that's the way we'd arrange it if we were SCEA. The date's definitely going to be at E3 though. 100%. We actually wouldn't be surprised if they dropped an "and you'll be playing it within the next four weeks" type announcement actually. Then again, a game of Gran Turismo's magnitude should really have a lengthy PR build-up. We'll see. But it starts at E3, we're certain of that.
