Media Molecule Want To Continue Improving The Current LBP Experience.

Or lack thereof. "We'd never want to do that," level designer told Danny Leaver told Critical Gamer. "That'd be the most counterproductive thing you could do I think."

Media Molecule believe that a sequel to the game would splinter their userbase, and instead intend to work on improving the experience we've all grown to love from LBP. "I think what you've seen so far from LittleBigPlanet, that's the way it's going to continue," Martin Lynaugh continued. We already know a Water patch and Motion Controller support are incoming; both of which could drastically change the LittleBigPlanet experience. "We have a lot of stuff coming out, especially next year. We can't really talk about specifics for a lot of it at the moment, because a lot of it hasn't been announced."

Level packs are one thing the community have often shouted out for. "We're looking forward to some really good original content, and some really strong brands we're working with," Lynagh teased.

The question is, are you still excited for more LittleBigPlanet content or is it time to move on? Personally, we still find ourselves excited over the prospect of quality new levels. We'd love some kind of "Media Molecule Picks" type section — an area of LBP that constantly showcases the very best of community talent. We know it's available on the web and whatnot — but it would be nice if they could really push that stuff and make it easy to access.
