Despite some early speculation that Sony would offer a "goodwill program" to those upgrading to the PSP Go, an SCEA rep has confirmed this plan has been put on hold, "We were evaluating a UMD conversion program, but due to legal and technical reasons we will not be offering the program at this time."

Sorry USA. But like we've said before — if you do buy the PSP Go, Sony won't come and take your old PSP and UMDs off you.
