In Japan there is a semi-interactive Playstation app known as Toro Station
The application provides users with minigames and news programming delivered by two comical cats. The application is about to feature its 1000th update - something Sony believe to be enough of a milestone to get in touch with the Guiness Book Of World Records. They're aiming for the "most consecutive days of game content distribution" accolade.
Sony claim the app has seen over 700,000 downloads since its launch alongside the Playstation 3.
