Despite a sequel to The Darkness being hinted at last year's Comic-Con, this year's Top Cow productions (owners of The Darkness IP) panel brought news that a sequel is indeed on the way
No developer was named but it has been confirmed that Starbreeze (who handled the original game) will not return for development duties on the sequel.
The original game was a real mixed bag. Despite having a rather engaging storyline the combat felt less than stellar. Hopefully they can improve that for the sequel.
