If you're someone who can be lenient when it comes to technical issues as long as they don't impact gameplay and you're playing on base PS5, I'd honestly recommend either playing in unlocked Graphics Mode, or locked Balanced Mode if your setup allows. It definitely fluctuates from time to time, but it is 100% playable and looks pretty great. Having just started new game plus at around 45 hours I do think this game is getting a bad rap, but I am happy to see they're addressing issues, especially that lengthy wake up animation.
