Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake Producer Still Doesn't Know How Many Parts There'll Be

I'm loving FF7R, I'm just arriving to the Shinra building so no spoilers. As an avid fan of the original, I'm happy with the majority of the changes so far and am really looking forward to what comes next. That said, hopefully they stick to 3 parts in total. It's hard to imagine another point in the story that they can expand upon like they did in Midgar, being the sprawling mega metropolis that it is. There's certainly potential to make the Golden Saucer experience as amazing as a modern day theme park, some expansion on Wutai and the war, and perhaps some potential in Junon... but most everywhere else is fairly linear and had to be revisited several times throughout the story. What I can certainly expect is expounding on the depth of the characters and story through dialogue and cut scenes as we have already seen in the first installment. I would guess and hope the second installment would at least take us up to the city of the ancients, opening up all the continents for exploration.
