There's no way PS6 will come out next year....PS5 just got a price bump as well as PS Plus and there's a lot of obstacles in the market. I predict a late 2028 release date and that's being optimistic.
There's a certain fatigue with MMOS's...Unless they add a great colective story and evolution they are destined to fail...also...there's a resurgence of single player games preference...
Most of the team members will be placed in other studios. Bluepoint was a "remake"/"remaster" studio to begin with. Hopefully they will be creating original new stuff in their new studios.

I think the real impact will hit when PS6 is released. The price and the lack of a disc player will bring them down.
