I don't care how much they charge for Remake. Since 1997 I have made a huge emotional investment in this story. The first part of Remake has been nigh-on gaming perfection and I want to see the rest of the story through, especially with the way the first part ended.
I don't understand why some people think that it will be difficult for SE to reproduce the open world of the original, FFXV had a decent open-world.
I do however wonder what those who are discovering FFVII for the first think of Remake. One of my main gripes about 15 was that I didn't care much for the characters. I wonder if others are having that issue with 7; hopefully not, as I think all the cast have major likeability.
In terms of value for money, I bought the Digital Deluxe and I think I took around 70 hours to complete part one on normal difficulty. I didn't rush through it as I wanted to find every collectable. Now I will go back and play through on hard. When you divide the cost by the hours played and compare this with other forms of entertainment, whether games, movies, cinema etc, the value is undeniable.
Keep at it SE! Hopeflly part two will drop in a year or so.
