@Nexozi Yeah hopefully it won't be too long before I get it back. I went be getting a new one until it's actually unavoidable. I recently bought a top of the range car, then I'm saving up for a recliner sofa (I'm 45, sue me 🤣) and I have a wife and a son to consider. So a new telly, as nice as it would be, is not at the top of priorities right now. But a man can dream. 😌
@Nexozi Terrible timing indeed. But then, is there ever a good time for the TV to break? 😅 Technician came in yesterday and took it away. Probably the power board needs replacing. God knows how long that takes though, he didn't give an estimate. 😒
@Nexozi It really is. Such a bummer. In a weird way I'm hoping for both outcomes. Fixing the telly would be cheaper but I also wouldn't mind getting a newer one either. Looking at the x90l. The xf is great for a midrange TV but it doesn't support vrr. And if I had the spare change, I'd go for something like the G5 myself but I'll probably stay in the mid range of TVs forever. 😅
I was going to play it day one but my TV (Sony Bravia xf90 65") died on me on Tuesday! 😫 Technician coming in today to assess. Pretty envious of all you people playing it! I adored GoT.
