Bought Dark Souls when it released back in 2011 on my PS3. Initially hated it as found it too difficult so I traded it in. For some reason, I kept thinking about it and it kept eating away at me so I repurchased the game in Jan 2011. I started the game again, joined a like minded group on the old amazon forums , and absolutely fell in love with the game. For the next 3-6 months I ploughed 100s of hrs into it eventually getting to NG+8. I loved the world, map design, boss fights, coop, invasions, leveling, customisations, everything. I lived in that Dark Souls world and adored it. Remember all the fuels in the Kiln of the 1st Flame area, right as you entered ... It was like nothing I had ever played before and to this day still remains my favorite game of all time and most memorable gaming experience. Good call guys!
