@Bizzy See that’s what I don’t understand, if these companies are so obsessed with money, you think that they would do whatever they need to do to make as much as possible and to do that you give the customers what they want and they will throw money at them. Squeezing every last dime out of a customer is not the way to go about having a sustainable business model. Surely there is someone in this world that can create a company and just give the customer everything they want while charging a fair price. They would have more money than they know what to do with and on top of that everybody would be happy..
How is this any different than the App Store on the iPhone and the Google play store on android? This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. PlayStation is not required to have any discs for sale or to have their digital licenses for sale at physical retailers. It’s their ecosystem and their store and they can run it how they choose. This is coming from someone who doesn’t really like Sony or PlayStation, but has them only for exclusive games.

What do these companies have against using multiple discs? I have so many older generation games that are on 2, 3 or 4 discs. Especially PS1 games.
