@Andywax This is what I was hoping for. Been debating whether to get a PS5 for a while now and was hoping that second hand gaming stores like CEX would soon be flooded with cheaper original base models. But alas, can’t see that happening now until the PS6 is out !. Still, I love my PS4 Pro and happy that it will live on for a good few more years
Somebody needs to check on Sony to see if they are OK !! First the debacle of Concord, then they score a massive win with Astro Bot, and now they slap us down again with the price of the PS5 Pro…..and all of this within the space of a few weeks! I’m still happy with my PS4 Pro, and whilst I’ve been toying with the idea of a PS5 for a while now, yesterdays announcement finally put that thought to rest! £700 for a few graphical tweaks is insane! The days of simply picking up a game and getting straight into it seem to be long gone…..its all about trying to make AAA games look as realistic and fantastic as possible….but without actual decent gameplay the ‘wow factor’ soon wears off. I’ll probably pick one up in CEX in around 10 years time!
Might as well 'buck the trend'...playing Lonely Mountains: Downhill! Simple to play, infuriating to master….I should hate this but love the aesthetics and minimal nature sounds! Calming in the same way that punching yourself in the face is calming!!! Its pulled me and I can't let go!
At last....I can finally beat (or try) that level in Timesplitters where you have to kill 100 ducks within a certain time! Used to drive me insane!!!!! Time to kick the kids off the PS4 during the summer holidays whilst I catch up on my youth playing Timespiltters
I remember playing this and being driven insane by the letter ‘a’ in the speech bubbles!!!! It looks (to me anyway) like a capital ‘G’ !!! This review has brought the angst flooding back…..I’m off for a lie down!
Still being wowed by the PSVR I picked up off eBay a month or so ago (my life is about 7 years behind everyone else!). Got the Aim controller last week and am loving Far Point and Doom, prancing around the living room no doubt looking like an idiot whilst my wife shakes her head!. Also spending a lot of time playing Wipeout in VR which is stunning. Spent a few hours playing ‘Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes’ yesterday with my son which was fun (and infuriating!). Looking forward to the year 2031 when I get a PSVR2 😂
I've just brought a PSVR bundle from eBay, so will spend the weekend trying that out. Can't wait to try out Wipeout in VR mode.... whilst trying to keep my son's head from exploding with excitement, and avoiding the wife whilst she moans at me for buying yet another thing that will keep the kids hooked on the PS4!! But the kids have promised to do their homework if I let them have a go !!!! Wish me luck.......

Re: MindsEye (PS5) - GTA Producer's Latest Is a Futuristic Faceplant
I looked at the box artwork and thought "Mindsey 3" ?
I won't be playing this until I have tracked down and completed Mindsey 1 & 2 !! 🙂

Re: Poll: Are You Sold on PS5 Pro?
Sony should have announced the Pro the same day as Astro Bot was released....might have softened the blow a bit !

Surprised that Sony didn't announce that the PS5 Pro will be shipping with a copy of Concord!
