I've been reading Push Square for many years now, but this article feels a bit disingenuous. They showcased there are many kinds of armors. But because they also have armor that is revealing, suddenly it's a problem?
Will some people like it or buy it because it goes against "DEI", sure, but I see it more as them walking away from a forced path and listening to player feedback.
It's ok if they have different opinions/politics, in the end non of that matters. You make the game for the players to enjoy. And you can't deny the rise in success they had.
Chastising a team because some armor is more revealing feels just as childish as making things to "own the left". Both sides in these arguments suck. Let them make the game they want to make and let the fans enjoy it. It's not like there is nothing else to play.
