I loved the original on PS2 so I tried the Switch demo and it's still great and would highly recommend it for all ages! I found that using the JoyCon (Switch controllers) in handheld mode was difficult, as moving the katamari requires using the two thumbsticks in conjunction. It was easy on the PS2 controller, but the sticks on the JoyCon are not great for intense movements (first person shooters, etc.). My kids never seemed to take to it like Super Monkey Ball or other classics on that game platform.
