There's currently a mystery Bethesda title up for pre-order on Amazon US, as spotted by the eagle-eyed Wario64. It's a full price pre-order at $59, and it's listed for PS4 as well as Xbox One and PC. It has a placeholder date of 31st December 2019.
It's already a bit suspicious, but things get even more eyebrow-raising when you watch the placeholder trailer that's attached to the product. Again, courtesy of Wario64:
In case you're unable to watch it or it gets removed, it's number cards counting down from 10 to 1. It's very Fallout, and the slight green tinge makes us think of Fallout 3. Naturally, we're not the only ones who have come to this conclusion, and so there's already a lot of speculation over whether this is a leaked listing for some kind of Fallout 3 remaster... Or even remake. Knowing our luck, it'll end up being something to do with Fallout 76. Sigh.
It's probably best not to get your hopes up, but it's certainly an intriguing find. If there is indeed anything to this and it's not just some sort of cock-up, then we have to imagine that an official announcement can't be far off.
We'll be keeping our eyes peeled.

Fallout 76 goty edition?
No way I'm preordering a mysterious game that we know nothing about. Even if it's a game that I'd like, it'll likely be a buggy mess when it's first released.
Why on Earth would you preorder something if you don't know what it is?

It's probably a leak of some sort, I'd say. And a Fallout 3 remake or such would be cool, but 60 euro seems to much too ask.

On a plus note I'd go for a remaster of fallout 3 goty edition. It would need to look alot nicer than vanilla fallout 3 mind.
Nothing short of a full blown New Vegas remake can save Bethesda now.
Fallout 76 Single Player Story Edition
There were rumours of a Fallout 3 remaster last year, before 76 was announced. Also considering the fact that FO3 just had its 10th anniversary at the end of the year, the 10 to 1 countdown would make some sense.
I'd prefer a New Vegas remaster, since it's a vastly superior game, but FO3 would still be awesome.

Anything that will come from Bethesda now will be a broken mess if it's Fallout 3 remaster it's just a ploy to recoup as much money back as possible since 76 flopped big style. The remaster will be broken on PC have there own launcher embedded in to it (which is a no no) and probably show up on Epic store only.

Still enjoying Fallout 4 with all its DLC. I would be happy for whole new singleplayer Fallout 4 spinoff.

You all doubt that a Fallout 3 remaster would cost $60? Does no one remember that not just Skyrim remaster but Skyrim VR as well started at $60? Skyrim VR should have been a $5 add on to the $30 original game but instead it cost $120 to get both day one.

I think you've all missed the point. What Bethesda are doing is charging $60 for the place holder. The game itself is not included and that'll cost another $60 at least.

I hate how everyone who never even gave FO76 a chance feels entitled to hate on it every where they go. It's actually a pretty good game, even despite the bugs and mismanagement.
Anyways, hope this is FO3 remake or all new FO5, either one.
I would love a Fallout 3 (with DLC) remaster, but wouldn't buy on release at that price though, and I'd expect there to a lot of working bug fixes on a remaster compared to the PS3 version, as I remember that ran atrociously on there compared to the 360 version which we also owned (thankfully!) That said, if I had to choose then I would prefer a New Vegas remaster first. Knowing Bethesda, any remaster will release with the original bugs included gratis...my expectations for them are sadly much lower these days, which is why I don't want any full remakes as I think they'd mess that up.

@Futureshark i would have a heart attack if that happens! strange as i was just thinking about that the other day too if they did fallout 3/new vegas in PSVR graphically it would be able to run it too.
@Flaming_Kaiser Haha no - I'm from near to London, though I have been to Amsterdam; wonderful city! Also read a lot of Latin words in Rome and various old Roman ruins over the years, which is where I got the word "gratis" from; didn't know it was the same in Dutch!
Why would anybody even bother with Bethesda after the disaster that was Fallout 76?
I've pegged them lower than EA and I thought nothing could be as bad as EA.
A mysterious Bethesda game is like dumpster diving. You might find something good, but most likely it’ll just be a bunch of garbage.
So many people jumping ship after years of Bethesda making great games. Whatever it is im excited, every company slips up sometimes.
