I would say its as simple as not having Don't Nod making the game. Their team seem to be able to add some special touch to the story telling and add emotion and feeling into their games. As a LiS fan I'm more looking forward to Don't Nod's 'Lost Records: Bloom & Rage' than I was for Double Exposure.
