I'm going to buck the trend and say I'm over 100 hours in and I'm enjoying it. Do I care about the plotline? Not particularly. Are the graphics bleeding edge? Definitely not. Is it an inventory management game? Absolutely. Is it a grind? Oh yes. Does it crash? More than it should, but it's a lot better post patch.
So why am I playing it? I like the ability to explore. I like that today, I want to kill pirates; yesterday I wanted space battles; tomorrow I want to craft. I can choose what to do without any pressure. It's a relaxed game, not a full on action game.
That suits me, it won't suit everyone. I like the grind. I'm weird like that.

I power cycled my PS5 and hour ago and managed to get on ESO for about 30 minutes, but was then booted off, so it isn't stable yet.
