There's a lot that could be done with procedural generation and Hello Games must be one of the most experienced studios in the world when it comes to designing games that way
I don't think a port of the HD collection would be good enough. The time for it has passed. What we need is a collectors edition, including every Metal Gear game, for digital and retail stores.
