Re: Sony Is Now the Second Largest Company in Japan by Market Cap

@PuppetMaster It was reported on Nintendolife in February 2024 that Nintendo was the richest company in Japan, with a cash equivalent value of $11.44 billion and zero debt. This may be why you assumed they were also the biggest. However, its annual turnover is considerably lower than that of the other top companies.

Re: Classic The Sims Launches on PC, But No Sign of the PS2 Versions

@GirlVersusGame "It really does feel like a cash grab."

It always is with EA these days, sadly.

Both re-releases have mixed reviews on Steam right now, so hopefully they'll listen to the fans and release some significant patches to finally make these games playable again in the coming weeks.

Frankly, I've been burnt way too much by EA in the past and refuse to take any more chances with this greedy, shameless corporation. At least until they've proven they actually care about their products and make them worth our while again.

@BiosNova Some of them, perhaps. However, you must see that characterising a large group that number in the millions as having a singular opinion or personality trait is frankly absurd.

In reality, as with all large groups, people's tolerances here will vary wildly but it's the vocal minority, those that perpetually throw their toys out of the pram with review bombing or hate speech on social media that give everyone else (ie. the vast majority) under the 'PC gamer' umbrella a decidedly undeserved reputation.

Re: Ring in the New Year with a Reborn Tango Gameworks Inc.

All industries have their ups and downs and a downturn was always on the cards after the blip that was Covid.

However, this was a surprising and heart warming read. Hopefully the newly reformed Tango team can defy the odds and make Hi-Fi Rush 2 the success the first game deserved to be. Good luck to them!
