I noticed in the article. It was stated that it doesn't make business sense to continue making physical copies due to a decline. However, the analytics in what Sony presented or misleading. They only cite that physical decline happened and has been happening. Without citing the fact that most of the games that are being produced that people have purchased never had a physical copy to begin with, and they were excluding the physical copies that also came with digital downloads. So they were calculation add-ons as digital receipts for the demise of their physical copy. Division, this is extremely misleading. Of course, small add-ons to a physical game that are digital. What will seem larger than the physical copy purchase? Because all of the digital add-ons are sheer volume compared to just buying one? Singular physical copy sony has misled the entire industry, and those who are doing true analytics on this are seeing that sony and all the other outlets that are agreeing with sony are misleading the public. Physical copies are not dead.As a matter of fact, there has been an uptick in the purchases of physical copies. @Sony I want my physical copies.
