@Swiket I think they just got some wires crossed, it seems clear that they intend every version to include a controller. But their actual E3 video has a disclaimer in fine print saying "stand and controller sold separately" just a slip up I'd assume.
@Neolit okay apparently all xbox one s purchases will include the new controller, but the $299 will be "arriving thereafter" the $399 and $349 version which will be on sale in August. So no real release date for the golden $299 price (all info from the official xbox news website)
@Neolit just don't forget that the controller reportedly isn't included in that neat $299 price tag (we'll have to wait to find out I suppose), but as for the rest of it I agree with you.
Hmm I feel like it could definitely be a close run race this year, certainly a stronger showing than Microsoft has had in a while.. hopefully Sony can pull out some good surprises.
Tried to get the ultimate collectors edition on the EU store, had it go down for half an hour, then not have it anyway.. sigh, they even had a french translator at the event, so it's not like they don't recognise they have a large EU playerbase..

Also "most powerful console ever" is a very easy/silly claim to make when you're a year and a half from even releasing the console.
