I have pretty high hopes for the game. I've been keeping up with the occasional Nomura and Hamaguchi interviews here and there. Some time last year, they mentioned updating Cloud's design to one that suits his "dorky" side a bit more, so I feel like Square's just making sure this game gets the TLC it needs.
I'd be more afraid if they were spamming us with new info tbh lol. The fact that they've kept things secret must mean they're pretty confident that the next trailer's going to knock our socks off. Pretty sure they also confirmed they'd have FF7r stuff to show at e3, so I doubt they'd make that statement lightly.
