I got caught up in the hype and preordered a day before the reviews.
But playing on base PS5 on performance with Vsync and not having any issues. On Chapter 2 and I think it’s pretty fun so far. It’s a mix between TOTK, AC, RDR2, Witcher 3, etc.
UI could use some help and controls are weird but not a deal breaker. Don’t regret the purchase.

Re: Crimson Desert Storms the Physical UK Charts, and Almost All Copies Sold Were for PS5
This game is stunning…so far. But so was BG3 in Act 1. I unfortunately made it to the end before they patched it and it was pretty rough.
Seems to be par for the course with games now that stretch the limits. They can do their best to get them out but hard to QC it all.
Better than everyone playing it safe and just releasing the same stuff. But it is an expensive purchase to us as well.
There’s no winning I guess😂
Re: 'The Jumping, Movement, and Attacks Are Way More Responsive': Crimson Desert PS5 Patches Fix Crashes and Controls
The update seemed to make a great game even better. Playing on base PS5 and loving it.
It’s the most freedom in a game in a while.
I still have no idea what is going on but the exploration is top notch.
Re: Crimson Desert's Performance Mode 'Not Recommended' on Base PS5, Here's 25 Minutes of Direct Capture Footage
I’m playing on base ps5 on performance mode and not having any issues.
I might have to make a cheat sheet though for all the button combinations as they are starting to build up fast😂
