Re: Naughty Dog Shares Emotional The Last of Us 2 Rehearsal Scene

It's because of scenes like this that I completely disagree with any Metacritic review bellow 5 for this game. I can understand that people may not agree with some plot decisions but other than that the environments, the gameplay, acting, sound were all top notch.
I don't understand when people only see things in binary. It's either insanely good or trash.
TLOU2 can't be on the same table as truly awful games. Games ridden with bugs, with poor gameplay and badly designed. Not even games like AC Unity or Mass Effect Andromeda got so many low scores and those were almost unplayable games due to the bugs and poor performance.

Re: The Last of Us 2 Petition Demands Dramatic Story Alterations

I respect that some people just didn't enjoy the story.
But what about my opinion? I'm enjoying the game so there should be an option to disagree to a petition to change the story.
I've been playing the game every day since release for a few hours. I haven't finish it yet. I'm taking my time to explore. So I don't really understand how there were so many negative opinions just a few hours after game release.
Also many opinions are just unreasonable:
There are two types of criticism that just don't make sense to me;

  • They didn't build the story as I wanted them to do it.
  • I don't agree how they forced the LGBTQ+ agenda. SJW and so on.

I can understand the criticism of people that state that they just didn't enjoy the story.
But that's very different from petitioning to change it to be like what they imagined it to be.
As for the SJW criticism, you can't say you have no problem with Ellie being gay and then when a game comes out that puts it in your face you criticize it for doing it so. I didn't see anyone complaining how The Witcher 3 portrait things. Or how macho most of us felt playing Doom. We must have games that represent all of us. If Cyberpunk 2077 does it, if GTA, Red Dead do it and we're cool with it I'll just learn to accept the nature of The Last Of Us Part 2.
