What a horrible and unnecessary review. This critic is a failure. Firstly: did you expect drastic changes to a port? Their ability to incorporate photograph mode, new costumes, & the digital artbook/album is already brilliant. Secondly- although it can be a bit "clunky" in places: it in no way affects the ability to succeed and is to be expected with newer gen games. The story is beautiful, clear, vintage, haunting, incorporates folklore. As a fan expecting disappointment here i was completely blown away by their ability to capture the essence of fatal frame, modern culture, and take it to a NEW place 20+ years later. Its certainly accessible to new and old players as well. How gross of you to bash a very original, rare type of game that is very well done given how its been set up to fail in so many ways.
