@Lowdefal 58% of steam users have a RT enabled card. (Tomshardware, 2024 October - slightly out of date) That means that 42% of steam users can't play the game. That is a lot of people. So it is a bit odd for ID software to have that requirement and alienate a large portion of their possible business. Also, Ray Tracing has also been a function that historically can be turned off. So to require it is a strange choice, but I understand there are developer reasons why that is the case. Couple that with the price range and the game play being a bit slower.......I guess it all adds up right?
