I have to admit I was really disappointed with this game especially after waiting seven years for it to come out. The original Last of Us was amazing, the story was incredible, the characters had a lot of depth in the gameplay was easy to learn. It may sound silly but games like this can you come invested in the characters and the sequel ruin the game by killing the main character that was beloved by so many fans. I don’t understand why naughty dog felt the need to do that, to spend more time on Elly? Focus on her sexuality which in my opinion was a waste of gameplay, who cares what her sexuality is. It was completely irrelevant but Naughty Dog felt the need to keep pushing the agenda. I could have cared less if she liked men or women, it doesn’t matter, period. But what really ruined this game and I say ruined because I’ve played through once whereas with The Last of Us I’ve played through half a dozen times. It has been my all time favorite game. What ruined it was forcing us to play as that bitch Abby who killed Joel. Are you serious Naughty Dog?!!! Not only did we have to play as her which was seriously a ***** waste of time but we had to attack Ellie with her as well, then to top it off Ellie let’s her live, I mean WTF!!! I haven’t been that disappointed in a fictional story since Apollo Creed died in Rocky IV. The ONLY way Naughty Dog can somewhat redeem themselves with this garbage of game is to have a part 3 and It starts with Ellie waking up from a nightmare and Joel is standing there asking if she’s ok. I was so pissed at this game that if they do come out with a third one and it continues from where the 2nd left off, I won’t buy it or play it. I’ll just keep playing the first one and pretend part 2 never existed.
