I did terrible. 3/15. That was very hard. I loved the original PlayStation enough to buy a PlayStation Classic. I felt like I lost a part of my heart with each wrong answer 🥺

So excited to see Silent Bomber here!

Oh man, this quiz brought back some memories, I love it! Managed to score 11, not bad!! A few tricky ones in there.

Not as good as this one though of course, PS1 had some brilliant games, feeling all nostalgic now..

8. Tough! But man, when Silent Bomber showed up I didn't even have to look at the options. That hit me.
I never finished that game... I got stuck at the stupid chess game.

4/15...and this was my college console once I upgraded from the SNES and Genesis.

But then I don't remember much of college either.

Not bad for one, who only knows psx games final fantasy, diablo and medievil. Didn't seen or played any of these games in quiz.

12/15 I've missed only TC: Project Titan, Alfred Chicken (WTF and Ray Tracers.

But hey, I've been with this grey beauty from practically day one. Geez, I'm old...

11 out of 15. Bust a groove was tough since 1 and 2 look the same.

I wonder if Sony will ever give trophy support to some of these classics like their patent suggested. I like that you mentioned Vandal Hearts, always been one of my favourites, I still have the disc. Has a great story.

Yeah, I had a lucky guess on that one.

I only got 4 and they were all guesses. I obviously played completely different games on my PS1.

11/15 not bad ! I remember the Incredible Crisis demo, it was so weird but I loved it !

I got 8, couldn't remember the name of the Pac man game or which Time Crisis it was

It's kind of funny to me that the one I knew without trying was Ehrgeiz. I bought that game entirely because Cloud was on the cover.

For some reason, G-Police is a game that I've always remembered from the PS1. Alundra, too. I still haven't played the latter, I keep meaning to. I actually use that name for characters in RPGs sometimes.

Bimbeman racer.. Top playation 1 game i played! I remember want the black kangaroo.. Had to grind month for that kangaroo! 😱

4/15 haha. That was cool. Makes me hope Sony brings BC with trophy support back again.

My friend got Silent Bomber and asked me to play it co-op with him as I recall. I don't recall finishing it either but it was fun.

Obscure!? No way, man! Ok, the chicken game definitely was, lol. Never seen that one before.

6/15 and they were pretty much all wild guesses.

None of these games were on my radar.

I didn't own a PS1 and the PS1 games I did play were all the major hits (Silent Hill, Final Fantasy VII, Resident Evil, etc.)

@Dange Most games on their list were games I have no interest in playing. I mean, I don't play sports games, dancing games, racing games … I deal mostly in action adventure, fighting games, horror, hack and slash, first person shooters …

Did horribly myself, but considering the games they picked … I did alright.

9/15, some very obscure games (at least in terms of my preferences when growing up). I still own original copies of Alundra and Ehrgeiz!

Anyway I just want to say that I LOVE CROC! I just wish PSNOW wasn't as crappy as it's become and featured more PS1/PS2/PS3 games. I would love to play Incredible Crisis too, the demo was super fun.

12/15 hardest were the original vs sequel. It was easy enough to cross out the once that weren’t the franchise, but knowing the differences between first game and second game could be a crapshoot unless there was a distinct element that would prove one way or the other.

9/15, some really obscure stuff in here, as well as all the shooter and flight games that are completely out of my expertise and I had no clue about those, I got a few lucky guesses that helped me a bit.

@ApostateMage Hi there. Alundra was, correction, is still one of my favoutite games of all time. It was the PSone Zelda game and since I am a Zelda fan, all the more reason. Such a great game, great story. Kowing that you could enter the villagers dreams(mostly nightmares really) and those were the dungeons was a brilliant thing. Cheers and happy gaming to everyone.

Cant believe I pressed the wrong option on accident and picked Ridge Racer instead of Ray Tracers. I bloomin love RR no way would it look that shabby.

Great quiz @Quintumply you recommended silent bomber when I had the PS1 a few years ago.

6/15, and that was with some lucky guesses. The only two answers I was confident about were G-Police and Pac-Man World.

Oh geez 2/15 lol i bought the PlayStation when i was 19 . Trip down memory lane i remember in resident evil one passing that corner and seeing the zombie ahhhh. I used to beat that game round 3 hours with 1 game save as my best. Then tomb raider came out omg that run through the city in tomb raider 2 INTENSE! But my all time ps1 game would be die hard trilogy. 3 games in one frustratingly BRILLIANT!

9/15. Some were sheer guesses as well. I suppose that's what happens when you spend the fifth generation on 8 bits (and the sixth one on 16). I knew a select few titles on the PS1 as a child, but my more profound acquaintance only came later in the emulation age - and unlike with the earlier console libs, the size of images pitched against my internet (I had dial-up as late as 2007, kids, let that sink in😆) didn't allow for as much of said acquaintance - I mostly homed in on JRPGs and other certain things of prior interest to me.

I got 11/15, which is pretty good in my opinion 😃

Man I miss psone, 3D gaming is pretty new back then, you just don't know what type of games that you'll get when you first open that new games. With wild arm, alundra, jumping flash, tomba, and many others, no wonder psone is my fav console, next to ps4.

I got Time Crisis II and Ray Tracers wrong. But yeah, the PS1 is my all-time favourite console so I was bound to score highly.

6/15 I loved Alundra on PS1 such a classic game I wish since PS3 that the classics had all these, I think they should get rid of licensing red tape and content should be available to everyone. Heck even the Netflix CEO want rid of red tape to give the whole library to everyone

@AdamNovice Same here i got 11/15 and a lot of games i have never seen in my life.

Only 3 for me, and they were luck. I didn't have a ps1, my first ps was ps2.

four out of 15. Not hard because I dont recognised most of them at all. That's why I guess, lol. If I knew all of them then I would have 15 out of 15 perfect score!

I was a long term subscriber to the Official Playstation Magazine so played a lot of random demos.

That was fun, really annoyed I missed Alundra, didn't notice it as an option and it's one of my favourite PSX games grrr (to myself)

5/15. That was pretty hard. Of the 5 I got, I think the only one that wasn’t just a lucky guess was Ehrgeiz because I did play that. Being back that game with an updated roster, Square Enix!

6/15 I got Croc, Bomberman, Silent Bomber, Pac-Man, Alundra and Alfred Chicken. I knew all of these except SIlent Bomber which was a lucky guess. One lucky guess out of 10 isn't too lucky really haha Really, I should have got Incredible Crisis as I have seen shots of that one before. Lots of JAP only games so I'm not surprised many didn't do well.

I got 7, better than I thought I did. I forgot most games from PS1 so this shocked me

I just bought Silent Bomber a couple of days ago! I’d never heard of it before, but saw a video of it on You Tube and thought it looked like a blast. The voice acting was just the icing on the cake.

I heartily recommend Over Blood for anyone who likes bad/good voice acting as well as characters who think they’re being serious but turn out to be really goofy. It’s hilarious!

@RaZieLDaNtE Rented Alundra back in the day & although can be unforgivingly hard to non zelda types like myself, it still kept drawing me back for punishment like a great game should! Underrated gem much like Suikoden....geez, hard to believe an era when Konami inspired happy memories rather than memes isn't it?!

I got 10, but to be honest, no one should feel bad about doing poorly on this, some of these games were insanely unremarkable PS1 titles, that are notably obscure, and not popular or well remembered, with the exception of games like Alundra, Ehrgeiz and Bust-A-Groove.

@Robocod Absolutely. Konami used to be one of the BIG ones in Japan. And games like Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania, Pro Evolution Soccer, Contra, Sillent Hill and Suikoden as you mention it were all very big titles, and for many fans, they still are. Do you by any chance remember the game from Konami, Azure Dreams for PSone? It was very iteresting game, like a Pokemon+Persona jrpg. Such amazing games from that time period. Loved Suikoden II by the way. Cheers and happy gaming to us all.

Man, I only got 8/15. Some of these were really weird picks, I actually have never heard of a few of them! PS1 might be my favorite platform, I own hundreds of games for it.

Well, I got 8. The one I remember the most was Bishi Bashi Special. Good Times in my late teens getting baked and playing that game. So many laughs, so hectic hahahaha.
