Publisher and developer Remedy Entertainment recently released its latest game, Control Resonant, and it's been a big success so far.

In fact, it's the fastest-selling game ever for the company, reaching 1 million copies sold just three weeks after launch.

As a result, Remedy has enjoyed a very strong third quarter, as outlined in its latest financial report.

Essentially, the launch of Control Resonant meant the company's Q3 — from July to September 2026 — saw a big year-on-year jump in revenue, up 226 per cent.

Operating profit also dramatically increased; Remedy reports €0.6 million, a significant boost from the €16.4 million loss it reported for the same period last year.

The company says the US is the game's largest market on both PC and consoles, accounting for "nearly half" of all sales.

It also says that nearly half of all players are "new to Control", suggesting the audience for the series has expanded substantially with the arrival of Resonant.

By all accounts, it seems the game has done very well for Remedy, then. We really liked the game in our review, as did many other critics, and it sounds like it's doing well commercially too.
