It's official: we'll be graced with a new look at Final Fantasy 7 Revelation later this month, during Gamescom Opening Night Live.
Geoff Keighley's showcase takes place on Tuesday the 25th August at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST / 8pm CEST, just before the German convention opens up to the press and public the following day.
The thing is, we've already seen a surprisingly decent amount of Revelation, courtesy of its big Summer Game Fest reveal back in June. So it's tricky to predict what'll be on show here.

Having said that, director Naoki Hamaguchi will be there — I presume on stage — which could mean that we're getting another kind of gameplay deep dive. Fingers crossed it's a similarly meaty demonstration; I wouldn't mind seeing some exploration and refreshed combat mechanics.
