This Is the Most Intriguing and Unsettling Game About Fishing Coming to PS5

Publisher Playstack and developer The Water Museum have released a new trailer for About Fishing, an upcoming adventure game that looks brilliantly strange.

It looks as though fishing is a big part of the gameplay, as you'd expect for a game called About Fishing, but there's undoubtedly more going on beneath the surface.

"Cast your line into calm waters and feel the quiet pull beneath the surface. Each cast brings rewards, but some things you reel in were never meant to be found," reads the game's description. "About Fishing is a fishing mystery game that blends the calm, meditative rhythm of fishing with the quiet tension of discovery."

The trailer hints at a mystery you'll be unpicking as you continue through the adventure, buying better gear for your fishing rod, catching a range of aquatic life, and peeling back the layers to discover some uneasy truth.

Add on top the brilliant retro visuals and this game has hooked me already.
