With its first major expansion scheduled for the Summer season, studio GSC Game World is getting STALKER 2 owners on PS5 back in the game from today with a free content drop.
This PS5 update adds a new activity to the game centred around exploring the X-Lab. It's story-focused content, and the setup is as follows: "Deep beneath the Zone, places like X-Labs remain sealed behind massive doors or buried under the consequences of failed 'research'. Rumors are now spreading among stalkers that Diod, a technician from Slag Heap, has somehow gained access to the lower levels of X-18."

Here's everything today's PS5 update brings to STALKER 2:
- Explore a new questline that starts when you talk to Diode.
- Fixed an issue causing overpopulation of strong mutant types in long campaigns.
- Fixed an issue where the mission 'Dark as a Dungeon' would immediately cancel if the player had already reached the point of no return.
- Added new loading screens.

I forgot about this game, need to add it to my wish list for some time this year
I was playing some of the older Stalker games a few months ago, I really need to get my hands on the second game sometime.
I forgot about getting the trilogy when they were on sale last time, damnit
