Ahead of its release next month on the 13th March, a demo for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection has dropped on PS5. It's a meaty 13GB on Sony's system.
Download it, and you'll be able to play through the RPG's opening hours, which'll introduce you to its core mechanics and systems across exploration, turn-based combat, and monster taming.
You'll also get a taste of the title's more mature storytelling, which revolves around your custom character being the uncertain heir to a kingdom's throne.

And yes, you can save and carry your progress over to the full game, should you decide to snap it up once it arrives.

I’m really digging all these demos lately. It’s lead me to buy two games I was on the fence about so it’s definitely working getting money.
Wait, this is coming to PS5 day 1? Kinda shocked to find this out but I guess everyone else already knew.

I played an hour of the demo and I'm kinda loving it. Might be a day 1 for me. Been a while since we had a higher budget JRPG.

I only recently got into monster hunter when Rise came out on switch and fell in love with the series. Stories 2 was so charming and a lot of fun. Can’t wait for this one.
A dose of maturity would do wonders for Stories. The collection mechanic is fun with rare monsters to catch, breed, merge, evolve, butcher. Still waiting for a snake like monster.
I was already in, i played the demo and saw the changes to combat, which seem positive.
The only issue i had was that the game was feeling very corridor-y. I did stop after the first boss cause of time. I am hopeful it opens up later. I will have to go back to it.
But, i got so much to play atm that i don't mind leaving it for later.
