New Forza Horizon 6 Leak Supports a May 2026 Xbox Launch, Box Art Tease

A new leak from Dealabs leaker BillBil-Kun has lent further weight to Forza Horizon 6 launching for Xbox Series X|S and PC on 19th May 2026, or four days prior via the Premium Edition.

In a new report, they corroborate the earlier leak from an in-game Forza Horizon pop-up screen that pointed to an initial May 2026 launch. The PS5 version is confirmed to follow afterwards, meaning it could be ported over before the end of this year.

Then, on social media, BillBil-Kun has posted a blurred image of the box art:

It's believed the red car at the front is the Toyota GR GT, and the blue car we see the rear end of is a Toyota Land Cruiser J250.

The leaker claims Forza Horizon 6 will release at a $69.99 price point, and pre-orders will go live later today once the Xbox Developer Direct livestream is over. You should also expect to see Fable and Beast of Reincarnation during the showcase.

Officially, all we know of Forza Horizon 6 so far is it will be set in Japan. Only a very vague teaser trailer has been shown up to this point, but gameplay will be revealed during today's Xbox show. We'll have coverage on the site once all of that footage is live.

This is the sort of game I’ve been wanting since I was a kid. All they need now is a Eurobeat radio station and proper Touge racing. NFS Carbon is as close as you get.

@rockodoodle Yes mate agreed! Though we have two decent TV's in our lounge so me and the wife often play Forza Horizon at the same time on big screens. I was impressed with it on the portal too, but I choose big screen over small when I can!

I made a number of predictions about when certain Xbox games would release, and I was correct (or at least seemingly so) when I suggested FH6 would arrive on the Xbox in May of this year.

Rumours is that the only reason the game is not arriving day and date on the PlayStation is because work on the port began on it too late in development for it to arrive at the same time. Thus, the second part of my prediction is that FH6 will arrive on PlayStation at the end of this year, somewhere between September and November, though my money is on November because that way Microsoft can spin it to their Xbox gamers that it has a period of exclusivity of 6 months (when the truth is that they just need that extra time in order to get the port ready).

As for all the other games that Microsoft are releasing this year, I think all of them will be day and date on PlayStation, with the possible exception of Fable, on which the port may also have begun later in development...
