Legendary Japanese dev LEVEL-5’s remarkable return to form continues in earnest with the ongoing success of Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, which has now topped 800,000 units sold across all platforms and is well on its way to the one million units milestone.
The game launched late last year on 13th November, and topped 500,000 units within one week. That means it’s tacked on another 300,000 units over the Christmas period.
The studio plans to continue to iterate on the release with a free update, due out on 28th January. This will add the “Ares route, among other features”. It follows ‘Galaxy and LBX’ DLC, which was also added for free last year.
