Coffee Talk Tokyo Shuts Up Shop Until 21st May 1

Cosy pixel art barista sim Coffee Talk Tokyo is shutting up shop until 21st May, as publisher Chorus Worldwide has delayed the upcoming game.

The anticipated sequel had previously been expected on 5th March, but as part of promotional video, dev Toge pointed out it wants to take extra time to brew everything just right.

The additional two months will allow it to sprinkle a bit of cocoa powder on top.

A statement said:

“The team is working hard to ensure that Coffee Talk Tokyo delivers the cosy atmosphere, heartfelt conversations, and late-night vibes you’ve been waiting for. We can’t wait to share more updates as we get closer to launch.”

Despite the new date, you can pre-order on the PS Store right now, and a Digital Deluxe Edition featuring a prologue chapter, in-game City Pop soundtrack, and digital art book is also available.
