A little while back, Disney announced plans to collaborate more deeply with Fortnite, which has resulted in various mini-seasons like Star Wars and the current The Simpsons crossover.
But the partnership will get stronger yet again from today with the addition of the Disneyland Game Rush, a new Island launching within Epic’s everything game for a limited time.
The crossover will include seven different minigames, all designed to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Disneyland.
The options are:
- Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Sneak Out! – Attempt to infiltrate The Collector’s Fortress, as inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT located in Avengers Campus.
- Haunted Mansion: Scavenger Haunt – Explore and discovering secrets, as inspired by the Haunted Mansion located in New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park.
- Indiana Jones: Tomb Runner – Navigate through a dangerous temple, as inspired by Indiana Jones Adventure located in Adventureland in Disneyland park.
- Matterhorn: Slip-and-Climb – Grapple and climb to the top, as inspired by the beloved Disneyland park attraction Matterhorn Bobsleds.
- Space Mountain: Rocket Race – Speed through the cosmos, as inspired by Disneyland park’s iconic Tomorrowland attraction.
- Star Wars: Stormtrooper Showdown – Battle the First Order, as inspired by the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park.
- WEB-Slingers: Spider-Bot Blasters – Save the Worldwide Engineering Brigade HQ from replicating Spider-Bots, as inspired by the WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure located in Avengers Campus.
Completing the minigames will unlock exclusive cosmetics, so there’s a bit more to this collaboration than your usual Fortnite crossover.
The press release reads:
Disneyland Game Rush welcomes players into a celebratory hub—with a replica 70th Anniversary sculpture inspired by Sleeping Beauty Castle, light musical touches, and skyline nods to iconic Disneyland Resort landmarks. From there, fans can jump into seven quick‑play mini‑games inspired by beloved attractions from Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Across each experience, players will compete with friends through classic Fortnite gameplay expressed with an authentic Disneyland twist.
