Eight more PS5, PS4, and Classic titles out today

PS Plus Extra, Premium October 2025 Available Now

Another eight PS5, PS4, and Classic titles are now available for PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium members, as Sony rolls out its October 2025 update. The games are live now in the UK and Europe, and shall roll out to the USA later on in the day. Here's what's on offer from today:

New PS Plus Premium Games: October 2025

Tekken 3 (PS1)

To synchronise with the time of the year, Sony is offering two premier horror games in Silent Hill 2 and Until Dawn in the October 2025 selection. They, along with Yakuza: Like a Dragon, represent the best of this month's lineup in terms of the modern experiences. Tekken 3 is all you're getting from the classics perspective, but it is a high-quality fighting title.

We gathered your thoughts on the games Sony has offered for the month in a weekend Poll. Across over 1,700 votes, the response was overwhelmingly positive — for once. 67% of readers returned a vote to say they're at least "somewhat happy" with the lineup, of which 41% were "very happy" with the selection. The excellent Silent Hill 2 remake is what most of you are choosing to play first.

I'm actually currently playing Yakuza: Like a dragon and I can't recommend it enough. I would suggest playing it on your PS Portal or on the living room TV only if everyone is asleep, otherwise you'll have to explain to people why you're summoning a grown man in diapers to lower your enemies attack and defense.

Please give this a shot if you like choice based games similar to Life is Strange or Telltale games.

Brilliant story and only 6 hours so you can beat it in a weekend

Also Tekken 3 has hit the classics section (or is £8 is you want to just buy it).

Not sure if it has trophy support though, I would of thought it would but Tekken 2 doesn't.

Downloaded V Rising and Wizard, rest don't interest me much. Rising looks awsome and Wizard is £2.99 lol with PS+. Don't know when i'll get round to playing them though, lots to play, NG4, BF6, B4, OW2 in a week and I have my eye on Duckside that's in preview, like rust but with ducks..Happy days and this list alone justifies having both consoles for me, never mind what's in the future Still itching to get back on iGirl as well, just not enough damn time in a day.

I played 6 hours of Alan Wake 2 but wasn’t feeling it. I swapped it for Silent Hill 2 and I’m having a much better time!

I jumped into Silent Hill 2 and after some time I could feel how dated the game is compared to Alan Wake 2 .

I remember not really vibing with SH (1 or 2) back in the day too, so maybe that's just it for me. Still awesome to try it after all the marketing and hype.

As Dusk Falls immediately felt wrong - is this a powerpoint-slideshow!? But you get used to it, and the story is entertaining and its take on adult relationship stuff feels very different from the usual gaming tropes featured.

I have a fledgling run going in Yakuza but the backlog is only growing and at this point I'm afraid to count.
