We really enjoyed Lonely Mountains: Downhill on PS4, so we've been eagerly waiting to see if a PS5 version of its snowy follow-up would come along.

Lo and behold, Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is now officially confirmed for Sony's console.

Unfortunately, there are almost no details at all in the press release; a PS5 release date hasn't been announced yet, though this will follow "soon".

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is a simple but satisfying skiing game in which you must traverse increasingly challenging descents, dodging and weaving through trees and rocks to make it to the bottom in one piece.

Unlike the first game, Snow Riders features online multiplayer so you can race your buddies.

The game has also received new DLC today with a Highlands mountain to explore. Presumably, this will also make its way onto PS5 in future.
