The next big update for Monster Hunter Wilds, Title Update 3, will launch next week, on the 29th September.
We've known about the contents of this patch for a while now, but Capcom provided a more in-depth look during its latest online program.
The headline act is undoubtedly the addition of Omega Planetes, a new monster taken directly from Final Fantasy 14 as part of a wider collaboration. As expected, the fight will boast several new mechanics that you'll need to take advantage of.
What's more, new Final Fantasy-based weapons and armour will be up for grabs, and some of them provide unique abilities taken from the MMORPG.

Beyond Square Enix's series, the tentacled Nu Udra is getting an Arch Tempered form that can be hunted for upgraded equipment.
And looking ahead, Title Update 4 is scheduled for December. The development team hasn't given much away on this one, but it has teased the return of a certain Elder Dragon: the gigantic Gogmazios.
The reveal isn't part of the above trailer, but it was shown off during the aforementioned livestream.
