We've had some great action games release this year, including 2D throwback Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, but soon the series will return to its modern 3D style with Ninja Gaiden 4.
It's now been confirmed we'll be seeing a little more of the upcoming hack and slasher during Gamescom Opening Night Live in a few days' time:
Published by Xbox and co-developed by Team Ninja and PlatinumGames, Ninja Gaiden 4 has been getting a lot of positive press in hands-on reports.
It stars newcomer Yakumo as the main character, but series stalwart Ryu Hayabusa will also be playable and is a major part of the story.

The game is scheduled for release on 21st October 2025, so now seems like a good time to see one more blast of frantic and extremely violent gameplay.
