You're not prepared for Denshattack, a new game just announced for PS5, launching in Spring 2026.

Published by Fireshine Games and developed by Undercoders, Denshattack is a fast-paced arcade-action game in which you drive a train through ridiculous stages — oh, and you can trick it like a skateboard.

Here's the brilliantly bonkers reveal trailer:

Inspired by anime and Japanese culture in general, as well as games such as Jet Set Radio, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and Sonic the Hedgehog, this is a mad combination of ideas that definitely has Dreamcast/PS2 energy.

Each of the game's 50+ stages will challenge you in various wild ways as you master the breakneck gameplay, which involves racing along train tracks as well as pulling off a number of outlandish manoeuvres, like wall rides, in-air tricks, grinds, and more.

You'll also get into crazy set-piece moments and even fight larger-than-life bosses, all while in control of your train.

Some interesting names are attached to the project; David Jaumandreu is game director (previously directed Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound), and Tee Lopes has hopped aboard to produce the soundtrack (Sonic Mania, Streets of Rage 4, TMNT Shredder's Revenge).

We reckon this looks super fun, but of course, the all-important question remains — how does it feel to play? Hopefully it's not too long before we find out.

Again, Denshattack is coming to PS5 early next year. Are you onboard for this crazy game? Tell us in the comments section below.
