Amazon Games and developer Glowmade have announced a release date at last for their co-op, dungeon-delving party game, King of Meat.
Announced last year, the game is heading to PS5 on 7th October, 2025, as revealed in the new trailer:
In addition, a brief technical test will be taking place very soon. You'll be able to take the game for a spin before launch when the test goes live for 24 hours, starting 23rd August at 10am PDT/1pm EDT/6pm BST.
King of Meat challenges groups of players to work together to beat hundreds of dungeons, each containing combat challenges, traps, and puzzles to solve.

What's more, the community will be able to make their own levels using the editor and sharing them online, theoretically providing an endless supply of new dungeons to conquer.
The game will cost $29.99/£23.95 for the standard version, and if you pre-order, you'll be able to play five days early.
Are you planning on becoming King of Meat? Will you check out the playtest this weekend? Let us know in the comments section below.

Looks fair, the making your own levels is cool but depends how much you have to work with of parts, limit before they go 'this is enough' for performance/objects on screen.
A death course game though, seems ok, I'd more so go for it if it had a different angle but it's not a bad game at all.
Anyone know if it’s couch co-op? Tried to find out, my son and I are always looking for new ones.
@FanCFeast from steam page, it say only Online Coop and no "Shared/Split Screen Co-op" so most likely there is no couch co-op 😣.
The trailer was mostly good, but why would you ever put "You can have emotes" in your trailer? Sell the dream, not the in-game store.
