The lovely looking Lost Hellden has carved out a new gameplay trailer, and although RPG still doesn't have a PS5 release date, it does show plenty of promise.
Described as an "action JRPG" by developer Artisan Studios, the game's a blend of punchy action-based combat and intriguing exploration across striking sci-fi environments. We really like how static camera positions give the locations an old school, pre-rendered feel.
Hitoshi Sakimoto of Final Fantasy 12 and Valkyria Chronicles fame is behind the music, and the Gravity Rush's Takeshi Oga worked on the illustrations.

If the name Artisan Studios rings a bell, by the way, it's because this is the same company that brought us the incredibly pretty but fairly disappointing Astria Ascending. Here's hoping that Lost Hellden strikes a better gameplay balance.

JRPG: The Game - looks pretty and fun enough, but hopefully we get something a bit more distinctive, everything from character designs to skill trees looked a bit generic. Except the cool sci-fi location, there’s promise!
Wow - this looks really cool! I hope it has a strong narrative.
Love the soundtrack already. FFXII is one of my favorites. I'd like to see more.
The names involved impressed me more than the game but I’ll keep an eye on this.
Combat looks eh and the artstyle / character design looks kinda bland which i expect more from Gravity Rush artist. But music sounds good since Hitoshi Sakimoto always put banger after banger.
Love the backgrounds.
The art style and exploration look pretty intriguing. The combat on the other hand... It's supposed to be a blend of turn-based and real-time but what is shown here just looks like a button masher to me.
