Twisted Metal's Anticipated Second Season Debuts with Three Episodes

I've never played the games but someone shared a trailer for the first season with me the other day and damn it looked so ****ING good.

It has a real Grindhouse vibe that massively appeals to me.

great for fans of the tv series; absolutely depressing for fans of the games. I really want a new twisted metal game and knowing that a tv show is more relevant than the actual game that was cancelled really gets under my skin

Chat, is the TV show worth watching or nah?

@Oram77 1st season was quite solid. Very fun and the spirit of the games is really there!! As a veteran player of the original games, I liked it a lot!!

I'm anticipating this like I anticipate the merciful brush of deaths cold clammy hand.

Dislike the games but love the series. Happy to see it be received so well.

This is a better approach. It gives the show a chance to sutck around and develop more discussion, rather than just the binge now, purge after approach that kills so many shows' momentum. (Like the new King of the Hill)

Instead of live action why not a new game with a decent budget

@Oram77 if you've played the games its like 100 times better, but if not its still a fantastic show, funny, violent doesn't always turn out how you expect it to. It's absolutely worth a watch

i could see if twisted metal was an RPG, but come on.

@nomither6 that's not what I meant at all, if you have NOT played the games its a good show, If you have played the games its a much better watch...more fun i suppose i can say , you can relate to certain parts, characters etc...making the show 100 times better than watching it knowing nothing about the world...

This show is coming in the right time after The Sandman season 2 just finished.

I think a lot of us didn’t get into that particular title back when yet clicked with the nostalgic aspect the Jerky Boys CD was a typical instance, those Johnny brennan crank calls were legend back when. Even funnier now I’d imagine but glad season 2 has arrived

To those who haven't seen it: it's a comedy through and through: very light hearted and goofy, writing is perhaps a bit hit or miss at times, but I really liked the show, felt it had heart and would recommend it to anyone who wants a good time and isn't expecting Shakespeare.

Everyone in season 1 looked like they were having an absolute blast and that translated to a really fun show. Can't wait to watch season 2 tomorrow, the trailer looked fantastic

Peacock? What's that in British English (the proper one)?

Are we talking Netflix, Prime, Disney or Paramount or is it entire sub all to itself?

I started the first season with my best friend last year. We only watched 2 episodes, I think, but were planning on picking up again as we had a blast. Now that he's moved to a new country I guess I won't be watching it after all.

So, is Paramount+ getting this the same time for those of us in the UK(or whatever platform has it for everywhere else outside the US) or are we all getting screwed again having to try and dodge spoilers for near on 8 months🙄

I’ll renew my subscription after this all releases.

@sanderson72 Peacock is a separate streaming service that is affiliated with NBC (the peacock logo).

My wife and I enjoyed season 1. Looking forward to season 2 but not expecting it to be as good.

Interesting release schedule. Andor did 3a week,don't think I've ever seen 3, 2, 2, 2, 3 before. We usually wait until a season is over but weekly might be the way to go for this. Still need to watch Pokerface. Then cancel Peacock until something else comes along worth watching. Currently on a $1.99 offer so don't have to worry about the recent spike price increase.🤑

@J4yRizzle83 @sanderson72 I think Peacock stuff falls under Paramount Plus in the UK. Paramount Plus being available either as it's own app or as a subscription on Prime Video.

Resubscribed to Peacock just for this because I really liked season 1. Haven't gotten around to episode 3 yet but off to a nice start with the first couple.
