Cyberpunk 2077 Out Now on PS Plus Extra, Phantom Liberty DLC Heavily Discounted for Subscribers

Cyberpunk 2077 being almost 5 years old is insane.

I know people complain a lot about how long modern game development takes, but imagine if top studios were releasing games of this quality every 2 years, there just wouldn’t be enough time in the world to play even half of the absolute best games.

Thanks in advance for any info on how well, after patches, this game plays on a PS4 Pro?

If only I could play first person games...

@NoCode23 It's no longer completely busted on PS4, but it's missing so many major updates at this point, and there's no Phantom Liberty.

It's worth checking out if you've got no other way of playing it, but there's no getting around the fact it's a massive downgrade from the PS5 version — or any other version that's up to date.

Amazing expansion and a steal at this price.

@NoCode23 Not great and its missing tons and tons of features and gameplay systems that current gen, PC and Switch 2 all have plus the expansion. I would never recommend the PS4 version.

Sure, but what if I buy it then Cyberpunk leaves the service? Still too much given that risk.its a long game and I don’t have much time.

@thefourfoldroot1 if you buy it it'd yours forever it doesn't matter if it leaves the service that only effect people who haven't bought it and are playing on PS Extra but even then games are on the service for an absolute minimum of 6 months and the vast majority stay on for many years so I would think that would give you enough time to play it but it you but it with the PS discount you have th rest of your life to play it aswmy times as you want as it's yours to keep.

Anyone know of an updated trophy guide, as the game has seemingly changed quite a bit since launch.

Has anyone ever played a game during a really bad time of your life where you sunk into depression to the point of having suicidal thoughts and now that game is forever tainted? Cyberpunk is unfortunately that game for me.

And I love cyberpunk stuff.

@John_Deacon yes, unfortunately. Which also means I'm missing out on a ton of great VR games.

@BecauseBecause I haven't had that experience with a game, but definitely with random songs that I used to listen during that period. I hope you're feeling much better now.

@naruball Yeah, similar feeling. It doesn't seem to matter how many years pass and that my life is better than it was, I put cyberpunk on and I'm taken back to that time of my life. It quite frankly sucks lol.

@BecauseBecause in that case I'd avoid it at all costs. Triggers can be tricky like that.

If only they brought and update for Pro. RT with 60 fps maybe? Or something near to that. I would even take 2K@40 with RT. I have it on Steam but if there was a mode like that for Pro I'd probably buy it on PS too.
