Just confirmed during a CD Projekt Red livestream, Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting a brand new update later this month.
Indeed, the recent rumours have proven to be accurate. The patch will drop three weeks from now, on the 26th June. No details have been given on what the update will entail, but its official version number is 2.3 — so it's assumed to be quite significant.
Previous whispers had suggested that a patch might have dropped alongside the Switch 2 port of the game, which is obviously out today (the 5th June at the time of writing). But it looks like eager players will have to wait a little longer.
And of course, this confirmation of a patch comes after a Virtuos employee seemingly leaked his work on upcoming "DLC" for Cyberpunk 2077. We'd bet on this update being that "DLC" — so you can expect additional content in some shape or form.
