The second story DLC for Star Wars Outlaws is named A Pirate's Fortune, and it's coming to PS5 on 15th May, 2025.
A new trailer has been released for this narrative expansion, which features Hondo Ohnaka as an ally as you explore the Khepi system and face off against a band of pirates.
While the DLC itself is a paid add-on, an update for the game will launch alongside it that gifts players a bunch of cosmetic items based on Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.
The first DLC pack, Wild Card, arrived back in November and was generally well received, and Hondo is a fan favourite character, so hopefully A Pirate's Fortune will be worth hopping back in.

Just a heads up, there's a free demo of Outlaws on the store now.
I was reading the post on the Star Wars official site earlier going on about the famous Hondo this, legendary Hondo that, and as someone who was really into the old Star Wars ("Legends") fiction but rarely found any appeal in Clone Wars or the sometimes-good-but-often-awful Disneyverse canon that followed, it just kept leaving me asking... who?
I own Outlaws - and enjoyed it and Wild Card despite their flaws - but this expansion is clearly not going to be as much up my alley
They clearly have their priorities straight... Way to burn money Ubi.
@crossbit He was a pirate introduced in The Clone Wars and also featured in Rebels. He also features on the Smuggler's Run ride at Galaxy's Edge.
Congrats to all people still playing this!
I genuinely forgot that this game existed tbh.
Skeleton Crew, aka Goonies in Space, is a lot better than I thought it would be, so pirates caught my attention, but I still don't know much about this game. Reading "Paid DLC" pretty much made me lose all interest.
Shout out to @Jrs1 for the demo info, maybe I'll go find out.👍
Haha! Nice with the demo. I'll probably try it after the demo of Persona 3 Reloaded, which is after all the tons of games I plan on trying with a month's sub. Jesus Christ who said PS5 didn't have games!?!?
Got Outlaws last month for cheap. I can see why it's a 7/10, but it's a 7/10 i enjoyed!
@rjejr No probs bud ill prob have a look too 👍
Beautiful game good ole romp. Yes it’s confusing as hell getting around and that’s also why it’s getting my special attention of late
@Residentsteven you might not like it for gameplay or design reasons, but the reasons you listed just aren't true. The game looks great and isn't buggy in it's current state. Yeah, that's also an opinion, but digital foundry, who are well respected when it comes to technical teardowns say that outlaws was one of if not the most technically impressive game of 2024, even on consoles. Players now generally report that the bugs have been fixed.
I liked it good game was well worth my time. not as good as jedi survivor but close
We get to team up with Hondo?! Who the ***** is Hondo?? Heres a crazy idea. How about teaming up with Han Solo? Hire me Ubisoft we will make some money.
played the demo today and deleted it after 10 minutes. that game looks like 240p or something on a regular ps5. image is so blurry und unstable it‘s crazy
@Residentsteven oh, that sounds wild. Reminds me when I had roach (horse/s in the Witcher series) catapulted into oblivion, post patch. Despite a rocky and slow start I'm glad I stuck with it, as Witcher 3 is one of my all time favourites.
Is the fake hate for this game still around?
@Contimaloris Its a typo its a Motorbike.
Good to know it's coming soon. I was waiting until the 2nd one came out to do Wild Card.
@Contimaloris star wars outlaws is set after empire and before jedi so han solo is in carbonite in jabbas palace in the game
@Contimaloris Han Solo is sitting in a big chunk of carbonite on Jabba's wall when Outlaws takes place... so you'd fail your Ubisoft interview with that take 🤣
Soon I will get the season pass and play both DLCs. Already beaten the cool main campaign. There are a few trophies and collectibles left to conquer too. As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I thoroughly enjoyed this game.
@Contimaloris Here is another crazy idea: go watch some Star Wars movies first, learn more about the lore.
This game totally surpassed my expectations, especially after all the negativity around it at launch.
The world looked amazing, I loved how it weaved through the story’s of jabba, lando etc and didn’t have any Jedi whatsoever (even though they’re cool) and fair play for the devs to mix up the usual Ubisoft open world formula with the reputation system.
It played like butter on my pro and I’m well up for some more so will pick this up. Love it when a game surprises you so much.
(No I don’t work for Ubisoft 🤣)
@Pixipantalon Well to be fair to me the Outlaws that exists now would never have happened. I would have just pitched a pre episode 4 Han Solo game. Sorry if some people were so enamoured with the oh so interesting Kay Vess... but a similar game with Han Solo would have certainly sold better and been received better.
Tried the demo on ps5, after wondering, hesitating on how much it's worth for me, with all the middling gameplay impressions etc.
And, at 1st i thought it looked and played very average.
But i played thru the 3h demo 2 times, on my 3rd now, and I'm having as much fun as in any game.
There's quite a bit to try in it, space combat, quests, explore, side challenges like hutt stronghold, speeder bike etc.
At max or near it difficulty, it's a good challenge, lot of fun, can mix actions or stealth as you like.
Speeder is fun, not as bad as comments often say.
Vibe is cool, well done dialogue, acting, just the facial animations in non major cutscenes is average.
Main character is endearing to me, humble, simple, fun, natural acting.
Even space combat is fun, challenging, and works well, nothing like all bad comments.
I hope they'll make a sequel like jedi survivor, expand, improve on things.
Didn't sell well though, so i doubt it.
2nd dlc looks fun, more than the 1st.
And details up close are nice, all characters, objects, environment, runs well enough on performance mode on base ps5.
Just one spot, in middle of mos Eisley, it stutters a bit.
You can replay demo too. Try out different ways, etc.
@Jrs1 I played the SW demo for about 10 minutes and decided it wasn't for me. Nothing specific, it just all felt a little off. And brown. And janky. Too many other things to play.
@rjejr Did the same, back to AC Shadows 😉
Am I an idiot for reading this headline and momentarily thinking this was a SWAT crossover?
