The Last of Us 2 PS5 PC Push Square

The Last of Us Part II Remastered is the next PS5 game Sony plans to port to PC, according to the leaker who correctly shared Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut would be coming to the platform prior to the official announcement. The user, who goes by Silknigth on Twitter, suggests the port will be revealed next month, though there'll be a "longer-than-usual period between the announcement date and the release day".

Sony has generally opted for a somewhat quick turnaround when announcing PC ports of its PS5, PS4 titles, with most coming out around six months after the first announcement. For example, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition was confirmed for PC last September and will launch on Thursday next week. Naughty Dog will be hoping the sequel doesn't ship in the same state as The Last of Us Part I on PC, which was made publicly available in a disastrous state.

Are you interested in playing the follow-up, which released on PS5 at the start of 2024, on PC? Though it was tough to pick out the visual enhancements the PS5 version allowed, we awarded the remaster a 9/10 and shared praise for the new No Return rogue-like mode and Lost Levels, which shared a look behind the curtain at cut content. All of this will almost certainly be packaged into the rumoured PC version also.
